Whether you're planning a wedding or a small
birthday party for 20, you will need to come up with
a solid party plan. So for now put all those party
decorating ideas aside, so that you can create a
plan without any distractions. Okay, let's get
started.
You need to figure out all the "W's" of your special
event or party. They are:Who - Who is your event or party for? Are your guest only
adults? Will there be children? Who will cater your
food? What type of food should I serve? Who will
provide the entertainment if any? Who will help you
pull this all together?
What - What is your party or special event?
Examples: Wedding, birthday party, corporate event,
family reunion.
Why - Why are you putting on this
party/special event? Are you getting married? Is it
for a girl friends bachelorette party?
When - What month will your party or special
event take place? What day of the week will your
party/special event take place? What time of day
will your special event start and end?
Where - Where will your event take place? And
possible locations where you can host your event.
Why - What is the reason you are putting on
this party or special event? Example, Getting
married, son's birthday party, baby shower.
Once you have written down all your answers to
the "W's", then you will feel in complete control
because you will have a foundation for which to
build off of.
